Families that are new to home schooling and/or participating in co-op will be provided a mentor for the first year. A mentor is an experienced member of CFA who has agreed to be available to assist a family during their period of adjustment.

Commitment:  CFA must be viewed similar to a “job”.  Being on time and being prepared to teach, as well as making sure your children have their assignments completed are imperative.  Everyone has unexpected family emergencies, illnesses, etc.  However, absences are an extra challenge for everyone, and we ask that you be in attendance and only miss for reasons that are dire in nature.  If you must be gone, it is your responsibility to make sure a substitute is in place, and that you have made arrangements for your children to receive their assignments.
